Tutorial 12: Using 16Bit Timer1 as 8Bit Timer

Timer 1 is a 16 bit timer, in Timer Mode the 16Bit timer can be used as an 8 bit timer resource by preloading the High Register with 256, hence calculations and techniques made for an 8bit Timer0 can be used with the 16Bit Timer1.
